Thankfully he has some helpful spirits, that serve as his eyes and even more…

WHEN STUCK:
Behind the ladder in the room to the left is a recipe to summon a spirit. Push the bottles to the cauldron with the eye.
You control the hand with arrows and grab with spacebar. Get the key from the shelf to unlock the door.
Summon fire spirit that is controlled with H,U,K. Use it and boxes to activate gates with pressure plates.
Retrieve the gramophone handle and wake up Isaac!
